Surgical Interventions: "Top and Bottom" surgeries are now BANNED in Alberta for all kids aged 17 and under, prioritizing the well-being of minors over irreversible decisions.
Hormone Therapy Changes: Hormone Therapy, commonly known as Puberty Blockers, will be banned for all children aged 15 and under, reflecting a cautious approach to gender-related healthcare for minors.
In the Classroom: Teachers are PROHIBITED from unilaterally changing the name and pronouns of young children without the consent of parents, reinforcing parental rights in educational settings.
In Atheletics: Biological Women will have the right to participate in WOMEN ONLY sports, ensuring fairness and integrity in female sports competitions. Male-to-female transgender athletes will not have access to these spaces, addressing concerns over competitive balance and safety.
Currently, British Columbians, through their elected provincial government, are the final decision-makers about what happens on public lands. According to the government, the “Land Act is the primary article of legislation that is used by the government to convey land to the public for community, industrial and business use.” That covers everything from how the land is used for communications and electricity transmission towers, to mining, tourism, agriculture and transportation infrastructure. The Act also covers lakes, rivers and the coastline, which impacts anything on water including future hydro projects.
In essence, if the government changes the Land Act according to its co-management plan, First Nations will become joint landlords of more than 90 per cent of B.C. and own veto power over any decision British Columbians want to make for our province.
In October last year, when Hamas attacked Israel, a new form of violent antisemitism instantly exploded onto American streets. This newest strain of the oldest hatred comes not from far-right extremists, but from students and faculty at America’s most vaunted centers of learning.
In American Miseducation, Free Press correspondent Olivia Reingold travels to America’s most elite colleges—from UPenn to Columbia—to find the origins of campus antisemitism and to ask how the smartest people in the country became the source of so much hate.
“The surface thermometer data still have spurious warming effects due to the urban heat island, which increases over time,” Mr. Spencer said.
He is the principal research scientist at the University of Alabama, the U.S. Science Team leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer on NASA’s Aqua satellite, and the recipient of NASA’s Exceptional Scientific Achievement Medal for his work with satellite-based temperature monitoring.
Mr. Spencer also said computerized climate models used to drive changes in energy policy are even more faulty.
Millions of dollars have been distributed to Canadians affected by COVID vaccine injuries.
Canada’s Vaccine Injury Support Program has paid out $11,236,314 in compensation to 1,825 families by the end of last year, but accessing these funds is hard with a system that’s difficult to navigate and doctors unwilling to officially recognize many vaccine injuries, patients say.
War with Iran? Yes. We’re already in it.
Joe Kent did 11 combat tours in the U.S. Army. His wife Shannon was killed serving in Syria. Here’s his informed view of what that war will mean.
Canadian’s aren’t buying into fear. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government is trying to tie in Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre with former (and possibly future) U.S. President Donald Trump. That tactic isn’t working.
Farmers could be labeled as being guilty of “ecocide,” and could face criminal prosecution for the acts of farming. This was among the more controversial positions expressed by a participant at the 2024 World Economic Forum in Davos, but it ties into an existing debate around the world on “personhood” status. Already, there is a growing movement to grant human rights to plants, animals, rivers, and even artificial intelligence. And this is raising concerns over what it means for the value of human life if everything is treated on the same value as a human life.
Trudeau is considering rebranding his carbon tax. But there’s not enough lipstick on the planet to cover up Trudeau’s carbon tax pig. Stop the gimmicks.
Scrap the carbon tax.
Canadian commentator and author Mark Steyn is on trial for allegedly defaming the self aggrandizing Michael Mann, a former Penn State climate professor and the creator of the infamous "hockey stick graph" showing a surge in global warming in the 20th century. In a 270-word blog post in 2012, Steyn called the graph "fraudulent."
Twelve years later, the case is finally on trial in Washington, D.C. True North's Andrew Lawton is in the courtroom this week covering it. In this episode, he gives a primer on the case with Phelim McAleer, who, along with Ann McElhinney, is chronicling the case through daily recaps and reenactments in the podcast Climate Change on Trial.
Also, Canadian Taxpayers Federation Alberta director Kris Sims returns to talk about Alberta ramping up oil production and how the tax on the carbon tax is gouging Canadians.
What is the difference between Pierre Poilievre and Justin Trudeau when it comes to Canada’s Indian Residential Schools?
Nothing. Absolutely nothing, because both are guilty of a “grave error.”
With the passage of the British North America Act in 1867, and the implementation of the Indian Act (1876), the government was required, when asked by Indigenous leaders, to provide aboriginal youth with an education and to assimilate them into Canadian society.
Stating that the Indian residential schools represented “an appalling abuse of power by the state and by the church at the time” simply does not accurately reflect their origin or operation.
Poilievre, in concert Trudeau, whipped the party he leads to unanimously support Leah Gazan’s notorious Oct. 26, 2022 House of Commons motion calling on the federal government to recognize Canada’s residential schools as genocidal institutions based on not one iota of evidence and not a moment of debate.
Both Tweedledee Trudeau and Tweedledum Poilievre badly need to familiarize themselves with the origin, purpose, operation, and legacy of these schools.
The federal government under the leadership of the Biden administration has allowed for the release of a staggering 6.2 million illegal immigrants into this country over the past three years, with no end in sight.
If these illegal immigrants were to form their own state, it would be the 18th largest state in the nation. One of the most shocking things about this crisis is the level to which it’s being facilitated by the federal government’s border patrol.
Seeing this state of affairs, Texas has taken matters into its own hands. Its initiative is known as Operation Lone Star, which is a $2-billion-a-year program for the state to secure its 1,200-mile border with Mexico. They’ve set up buoys on the river, allowed local judges to order the deportation of illegal immigrants, deployed thousands of National Guard troops to the border itself, and more recently, blocked federal agents from being able to access the actual illegal immigrants themselves.

Trudeau's gun confiscation scheme is not only useless and ridiculous, it would cost FAR more than Jean Chretien’s failed gun registry, a project that Liberals promised would only cost taxpayers approx. $2 million dollars. We know now, it cost over $2 Billion, 1000x more than Liberals estimated in 1995.
Today, after several access-to-information requests (ATIPs), and with excellent work done by The Gun Blog, and Bryan Passifiume of the National Post, new information has come to light showing the Trudeau Liberals flat-out lied to Canadians about the projected cost of their so-called 'gun buyback.' They knew the 'true cost,' but that's not what they told Canadians.
